The Broadreach Foundation

Broadreach established The Broadreach Foundation in 1998 to create scholarships for teenagers to participate in summer experiential education programs. Based on years of experience, we understand that outdoor education and adventure travel not only enhances teenagers' lives but has the potential to change their lives. The purpose of the Foundation is to extend these opportunities to deserving teens that would greatly benefit from and contribute to a summer program, but lack the financial means to participate.

The Broadreach Foundation's goal is to award scholarships to a number of different programs, in addition to Broadreach. We encourage diversity of experiences and want teenagers to be able to choose programs with locations and activities that best fit their interests and needs.

Tax Deductible Contributions

Contributing to the Broadreach Foundation allows you to positively impact young people's lives. At least 90% of all donations will go directly to scholarship awards, so your contribution will go directly to providing scholarships for deserving teenagers.

All contributions are fully tax deductible. The IRS has classified The Broadreach Foundation as a publicly supported organization as described in sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Please contact us if you would like to receive a copy of the IRS's ruling.

Please make checks payable to The Broadreach Foundation and mail to:

No program has had such a positive impact on my daughter as Broadreach. She had a wonderful time - all the while growing emotionally, physically, and intellectually. It has been months since her trip and she still glows when she talks about it and keeps in touch with her new friends. Dia Michels, Washington, DC
